If asked the question, “what is success,” it’s no surprise that the answer would vary from person to person because everyone has a different definition of success and undoubtedly a different idea on how one could become successful. The key fact is that anyone can become successful it just takes some learning how to do so in order to get going. If you’re afraid of failing, put your worries aside because many of the most successful people would admit that they have failed when they have tried something new; but they didn’t allow failure to stop them.
For example, at 30 years old, Steve Jobs was left devastated and depressed after being unceremoniously removed from Apple, the company he started. Walt Disney was fired from a newspaper for “lacking imagination” and “having no original idea.” It’s safe to say whoever came to those conclusions at that time were definitely wrong.
Another intelligent man, Richard St. John’s learned to teach success to others by having spent ten years researching success and doing over 500 interviews with many “greats”, such as Bill Gates, Martha Stewart, Richard Branson and the founders of Google. On the prestigious TED.com website, his talk, “8 Secrets of Success”, is in the top 20 “Most Viewed” out of 700 amazing talks.
